Lee County Fair, Oct. 2-6

  • What: When you ask people about their favorite parts of fall, it’s hard to forget county fairs. Come visit the much-loved Lee County staple this October. Enjoy fun events like live music, cookie contests, and livestock shows. Plus, get free admission on Oct. 2 if you arrive between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m.

Fall Sundown Concert, Oct. 4 and 11

John Jerome “Acing ALS” Tennis Benefit, Oct. 5

  • What: Spend your evening making a difference in the fight against ALS. In this event, head off against fellow tennis players as you all raise money for research on Lou Gehrig’s disease. Make sure to register. The fee is $20. Though donations are optional, feel free to give money to this important cause. Winners will receive trophies.

Girls in Aviation Day, Oct. 6

9th Annual Oktoberfest, Oct. 6

  • What: What’s October without Oktoberfest? Choose from dozens of beers, enter a homebrew competition, or even watch a wiener dog race! Make sure to buy your $50 tickets prior to the event. If you volunteer to be a designated driver, then your ticket is completely complimentary.
