Auburn’s Independence Day Celebration, July 4

  • What: Celebrate Independence Day with the Auburn community at their 4th of July celebration on Saturday, July 4. Gates open at Duck Samford at 5 p.m. Come for food, live music, fun activities, face painting, free giveaways and more. The highlight, of course, of the evening is the fireworks display starting around 9 p.m., with a backup date of July 5 in case of inclement weather.

July 4th Hey Day Neighborhood Block Party, July 4

  • What: The Independence Day fun continues to shine at Hey Day Market’s Red, White & BBQ event with an evening of Southern barbecue, family fun and nostalgia. Gather on the Greenspace for a backyard-style cookout featuring Southern Smokehouse BBQ and more—complete with cold drinks, lawn games and classic Americana as America marks its 250th birthday. Get tickets in advance!

Float-In Movies at Samford Pool, July 11 & 25

  • What: Splash into family fun with Auburn Parks and Recreation’s summer favorite—Float-In Movies at Samford Pool! First is a showing of National Treasure on July 11, followed by Rio on July 25. Bring your floats and soak or watch from the pool deck. Doors open at 7:45 p.m. and the movie starts at 8 p.m. Admission is $5 or free with an All-Inclusive Parks and Rec membership.

Improve your game through 30 hours of tennis drills, match play and a camp-wide tournament!
