Family STEM Career Connect Day will be hosted at the Opelika Public Library in collaboration with the East Alabama STEM Ecosystem and QuantHub on Saturday, August 23, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Designed for all ages, this event is free and open to the public!
First and foremost, let’s explore what exactly STEM is. Standing for science, technology, engineering and mathematics, STEM encourages you to think critically, take risks and find solutions to complex problems in creative ways. Think innovation that leads to impact.
So, what can you expect at this event? Get ready to spark the technology of tomorrow with the science of today. There will be more than a dozen tables set up with hands-on activities. These activities will offer a variety of engaging projects to discover the power of curiosity in STEM.

The East Alabama STEM Ecosystem is a collection of like-minded partners preparing all learners to thrive through high-quality science, technology, engineering and math experiences. Their mission? To create a resilient, STEM-ready workforce and promote lifelong learning.
QuantHub is an AI-powered learning and development platform that provides hands-on experience in essential data competencies.
