About the expansion

In terms of the Auburn Center for Developing Industries expansion, growth spurs growth. According to reports, $3 million in federal funding was secured as part of the Consolidated Appropriations Act.

Overall, the expansion of this Auburn-based business incubator will strengthen the center’s existing capabilities.

The funding will expand the center’s training facilities. Classroom training as well as conference room spaces will be added to what will be the Auburn Center for Developing Industries Business Center.

Additional educational opportunities will be created within the advanced manufacturing industry and pre-graduation job training for Auburn University students. The new facility will provide space for more collaboration between tech providers and industries as well as between industries and academia.
