Summer Swing Series, Aug. 3

Itty Bitty Scavenger Hunt, Aug. 3 to 31

  • What: You have the rest of August to go on the tiniest scavenger hunt in town! 2021 marks its 51st year running—and you can join in the festivities. Get a worksheet from Auburn Parks and Recreation spot and turn it in—completed—on Aug. 31 before 5 p.m. One lucky person who found all 25 spots will win a grand prize from the drawing!

Sportsplex Tri for Kids, Aug. 7

  • What: You can give back at any age! Teach your kids that important lesson—and give them something cool to do—at this triathlon. Children aged 5 to 16 can register to compete and raise money for the American Cancer Society.

August Community Day, Aug. 7

Family Discovery Hike, Aug. 10

Not Our First Goat Rodeo: Yo-Yo Ma, Stuart Duncan, Edgar Meyer, Chris Thile (Outdoors), Aug. 13

  • What: Unique stylings meet unforgettable performers at this can’t-miss show from a Grammy-winning group. See—and hear—Yo-Yo Ma, Edgar Meyer, Stuart Duncan, Chris Thile, and guest Aoife O’Donovan put on one of their two nationwide shows at this spectacular event.
