However, refreshing is more than a physical state. It’s a state of mind too. That’s where this new local coffee shop shows, they have “bean” coffee lovers themselves for a long time! Luis Saavedra, owner, said his appreciation for what coffee could be began to percolate in childhood trips to Bolivia.

On his website, it’s written best: “Some people dream of Jeanie, I dream of coffee.” He goes on to say that his appreciation for coffee strengthened during his U.S. Military service. It was then he longed for a superb cup of joe and realized coffee is more than a drink. Hence, his belief “a good cup of coffee can not only wake you up, but refresh your spirit as well.”

The Menu

The menu is seasonal and may change slightly accordingly. However, you can always count on the unique signature Boonie Hat way of roasting. The only shop in town to roast flavor-packed beans over hot air. It gives the beans a slow, uniform roast and smooth—never bitter—taste.

Guest can choose from Americano, Drip, Pour Over, Latte, Breve, Frappe and hot chocolate, to name a few. There are also peach, strawberry or mango smoothies. Artisan Pops include flavors like salted caramel, strawberry lemonade and Mexican vanilla latte.
