  • What: Grab your girlfriends and visit downtown Opelika for a girl’s night out! Several downtown shops will stay open late, including Taylor Made, Zazu Gastropub, Southern Crossing, Fringe, and Studio 3:19.
  • Where: Downtown Opelika
  • When: 5 to 8 p.m.

Wines of France Dinner at The Depot, Feb. 12

  • What: Are you a wine lover? Have a wine loving friend? Celebrate this weekend of romance at The Depot for a five-course dinner paired with romantic French wines, including Provence, Sancerre, Burgundy, Bordeaux, and Sauternes! For information on tickets and reservations, click here!

Family Discovery Hikes – Heart Healthy, Feb. 14

  • What: Extend the love we give to others to your own heart! Invite your family to the Louise Kreher Forest Ecology Preserve for a free educational hike about the health benefits nature has for your heart. The hike will include not just exercise, but also hands-on learning and exploration!
  • Where: Louise Kreher Forest Ecology Preserve, 2222 N College St., Auburn
  • When: 3:30 to 4:30 p.m.

Heart Hike, Feb. 14

  • What: In addition to the Heart Healthy hike, the Ecology Preserve is also offering a self-guided tour for you and your significant other this Valentine’s Day! This event is also family-friendly and will remain open for several days after February 14!
  • Where: Louise Kreher Forest Ecology Preserve, 2222 N College St, Auburn
  • When: 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The Learning Tree’s Boots and Bowties, Feb 16

  • What: Enjoy an evening out with your significant other or friends at the Agricultural Heritage Park! This Valentine’s Day event offers dinner, a silent auction, and live entertainment; additionally, proceeds will go to The Learning Tree and the Little H.A.P.I.E. Tree Preschool!   • When: 6:30 to 10 p.m.
